PharmaConex is recruiting a Support Pharmacist for busy pharmacy in Mountmellick or Portlaoise Co. Laois.

The role is negotiable three, four or five days in a pharmacy opened from 9am to 6:30pm daily, with Saturday cover required on rotation 9am to 6pm. Closed SUNDAYS.

The role is largely a support role working with our experienced and long term supervising pharmacist in a busy shop, with an excellent team of three technicians at all times and two or three healthcare staff.

Expectations for this role which may have a longer term opportunity include:

• Providing a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers in accordance with the pharmacy guidelines
• Ensuring safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers
• Engaging actively with customers to encourage customer loyalty and confidence
• Maintaining appropriate stock levels in the pharmacy ensuring the correct storage and monitoring of dated products
• Maintenance and organisation of paperwork (including PCRS claims though not essential as excellent support)

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• PSI registration a must, with some recent experience in community pharmacy in Ireland

Skills Required:

• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent time management skills
• Passion for first class customer service
• Experience with MDS, blister packing systems with volume

Salary Range: €38.00 - €43.00 per hour
