On behalf of our Client, we are recruiting an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a well-established Independent Pharmacy in Portlaoise, Co. Laois 

The role is permanent and flexible, requires working 5 or 4 days a week. No Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights are required. The system used is MPS.

 Store Opening Hours:

• Monday to Friday 9- 6
• Saturday 9.30 - 6
• Sundays and Bank Holiday closed

 Key Responsibilities

• Customer-focused - handling queries both on the phone and instore
• Dispensing Prescriptions
• Blister packs
• End-of-month claims
• Manage dispensary stock
• Receiving and sending pharmacy orders
• Calling doctors with queries on patient medication interactions
• Accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

• Previous Irish retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Good knowledge of pharmacy products
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Diligent
